Wedding photo sharing

Your guests leave with
their photos already.

Not a Drive link in three weeks. Not a WhatsApp group of six hundred people. One QR code on the welcome board — a guest scans it, takes a selfie, and every photo they are in is on their phone before the next course.

At the reception

Scan. Selfie. Done — even for the uncle who hates apps.

01 · your photographer

The photos arrive on their own.

Your photographer uploads to the event from a browser or a desktop watch-folder — and on Pro, the camera can send each shot itself, so a photo is searchable roughly a minute after the shutter. Nothing changes about how they shoot.

02 · the guest

One QR, one selfie, no sign-up.

It opens in the phone browser. No app store, no account, no password to forget — which is the only reason guests over fifty actually use it. They can scan again a week later from the same code.

03 · what comes back

Their photos. Not everyone's.

A guest sees only the frames their own face is in, at full quality, ready to post. Nobody scrolls two thousand pictures of strangers, and nobody sees the rest of your gallery.

Guests search on their own phone data, so weak venue wifi never stops anyone finding their photos — it only slows the uploads coming in. And whatever is uploaded after the function still reaches every guest through the same code. ↓

The thing on the welcome board

One QR. It should look like your wedding.

Every event gets a QR code that opens your gallery. Print it for the welcome standee, the table tents, the buffet, the return-gift card. On Pro there is a poster designer: your names, your colours, a photo from the pre-wedding as the background. Print-ready — and the link never changes, so you can print it the week before.

The part families ask about first

A wedding gallery nobody can browse.

A shared Drive folder lets every guest see — and download — every photo of every other family. That is the thing people quietly dislike about it. Snapseek never opens the gallery to anyone.

3 of 8,000 · the rest never load

A guest sees only themselves

Matching runs on the face in the selfie. There is no “browse all photos” button for guests to find, so the rest of the wedding stays between you and your photographer.

not published

The selfie is not published

It is used to find the match and nothing else — never added to the gallery, never shown to other guests, never sold. A guest can return to the same link and search again later.

Full-resolution original wedding photo delivered to a guest
original · not resized

Full quality, straight to the phone

What a guest downloads is the original file, not a shrunken preview — so the photo that goes up on Instagram that night is your photographer’s actual work.

What to sort out beforehand

Five things before the wedding. Then it runs itself.

None of it is technical, and most of it is one message to your photographer. Do it a week out and there is nothing left to think about on the day — you will be busy.

  1. 01
Ask your photographer whether they already use Snapseek.
Many do. If they run the event on their own plan there is nothing for you to set up — just tell them you want the QR at the venue.
  2. 02
    Otherwise, create the event yourself.
It takes about five minutes. Share the event’s FTPS settings with your photographer and ask them to connect the camera during the function — photos then upload as they shoot, and guests get them while the wedding is still on.
  3. 03
Print the QR the week before.
Welcome standee, table tents, the buffet, the return-gift card. The link never changes, so printing early is safe.
  4. 04
    Test it with two people.
Upload a handful of pre-wedding photos and have two family members scan and search. Five minutes now beats debugging at the mandap.
  5. 05
Ask the emcee to say it once.
One line after the varmala — “scan the code on your table for your photos” — is worth more than every sign in the hall.

What couples ask us

Straight answers.

What is Snapseek for a wedding?

Snapseek is an instant photo-sharing service for weddings. The photographer uploads to the event — or the camera sends each shot itself while the function is still on — and AI indexes every face as the photos arrive. Guests scan one QR code at the venue, take a selfie, and receive every photo they appear in, typically within 10 to 30 seconds, with no app to install and no sign-up.

How does it work at the reception?

You print the event QR code before the day and put it on the welcome board, the table tents or the buffet. A guest scans it, the browser opens, they take one selfie, and their photos appear. There is nothing to download and nothing to log into, which is what makes it work for guests of every age.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Snapseek runs entirely in the phone browser, so an older relative with a full phone and no patience for the Play Store gets their photos as easily as anyone else.

Can guests see photos they are not in?

No. A guest sees only the photos their own face appears in. The rest of the wedding gallery stays private, so nobody is scrolling through 2,000 photos of other people's families to find their five.

What happens to the selfie a guest takes?

It is used to match faces and is not published in the gallery, shown to other guests, or sold to anyone. A guest can search again later from the same link.

Can guests get full-quality photos to post?

Yes. Guests download the original-quality image, not a shrunken preview, so what goes on Instagram that night is the photographer's actual work.

Who sets this up — us or our photographer?

Either. Most couples ask their photographer to run the event on their own Snapseek plan, and many already do. If yours doesn't, you can create the event yourself, share the upload link with them, and print the QR — the free plan covers one real event so you can test it before the wedding.

What if the venue wifi is bad?

Guest searches run on the guests' own phone data, so a weak venue network never stops anyone finding their photos. Venue wifi only affects how fast the photographer's uploads arrive, and photos uploaded after the function still reach every guest through the same QR link.

How long do the photos stay available?

The QR and the link keep working for the retention period of the plan the event is on, so guests who scan a week later still get their photos. Nothing has to be re-sent and no WhatsApp group has to be kept alive.

Next time a guest asks

“Photo kab milenge?”
Abhi.

Set-up takes about five minutes. Your first event is free — try it on the mehendi.
